Power Press Repairs Limited was formed in 1946 by Billy Lowe, Dick Holland and Charlie
All three were engineers who served their apprenticeships at Taylor & Challen a notorious
press manufacturer in Birmingham, here they gained a wealth of experience.
Spotting a need in the market they formed Power Press Repairs to service a buoyant
post war manufacturing industry. Their aim then was the same as it is today, to furnish
power press operators with a service that is:
• High Quality • Efficient • Expedient
• Experienced • Cost Effective
In due course the running of the business was taken on by their off spring - Ray Lowe, Tony Holland & Ray Moore and subsequently by their sons Steve Lowe and Dave Holland.
Today the company is managed by Steve Lowe grandson of Bill Lowe, who along with long serving employees have extensive experience in the repair of mechanical Power Presses.
Located within the industrial heartland of the UK we are ideally placed on the motorway network to serve our customers nationwide.
